The MAM concert season is from September to May. Members typically join in September or January. Exceptions to the rule are the Civic Orchestra and Senior Chorale which welcome new members at any time and the Concert Band which only meets for two 5-week sessions in the fall and spring. Civic Orchestra
- No audition necessary to join. Drop by any Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. to sit in on a Civic Orchestra rehearsal and see if this ensemble fits your needs. Contact the MAM office to make sure they are rehearsing as they perform their concerts usually on Mondays at various venues around town and, on occasion, take mini-breaks.
Concert Band
- No auditions required but Dan Geldert, Concert Band Music Director, likes to connect with anyone interested in joining this ensemble before the first rehearsal. Contact the MAM office for Dan's direct phone number
Youth Choirs
- Learn more about our choirs by meeting the music directors of the Chamber, Concert and Cappella music directors and parent choir managers during open rehearsals in April and May and again in September. Auditions for the Chamber and Concert Choirs are held during the evening or day by appointment only. Please contact the MAM office at 952-401-5954 for further information.
Minnetonka Symphony Chorus and Choral Reflections of Minnetonka
- An informational night and auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 25 and Tuesday, September 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the choral room at the Arts Center on 7. Contact the MAM office at 952-401-5954 for further information.
